wilton villager - Alliance against FAA flight plan launches Web site: "REGION — Area municipalities fighting an air traffic redesign plan by the Federal Aviation Administration will spend at least $240,000 for an advocacy group to get residents on their side, and last week some of that money went to work.

A Web site for the Alliance for Sensible Airspace Planning — a coalition of chief elected officials in 13 Connecticut communities including Norwalk, plus Pound Ridge, N.Y. — went live on Jan 2 at www.sensibleairspace.org. It was designed by OnPoint Advocacy, based in Alexandria, Va.

'There's going to be the court of law and the court of public opinion,' said Judith Neville, chief operating officer of the alliance and a former first selectman of New Canaan. 'This is the court of public opinion that we're trying to mobilize.'"
