Spot Longboard 9 29er

Been doing a lot of research and finally pulled the trigger on a Size Large 29er. Sold the Santa Cruz Heckler and the Schwinn 11.8 to fund this. I wanted a double crank so I updraded to the SLX with a x5 shifter and x9 front der. The rest is stock. I will post again with reviews when it arives in a about a week.
They also make a sweet belt drive singlespeed : http://www.spotbikes.com/bikes/longboard
More to come.

What's a double crank?

Schweet looking bike, although I have to wait till I get home to see the other pix (office firewall thinks bike pictures is porn).

Did you buy this from the Mfr?

Nice set up. I also have a Longboard 9 and am thinking of adding a triple up front. What size front derailleur clamp did you use?

I do not know as I have the dealer doing the upgrade prior to shipping it. I need a 22t with all the technical climbing here in the northeast.

I have a 22t Kick Ass cog I am no longer using (I roll 34:19 now) that I would be willing to trade with you for something. Still got that DT Swiss 540 DISC rear wheel?

yes I still have the DT swiss wheel. The crankset I am getting replaces the singlespeed only set. It includes a 22t and 34t but thanks. I also have the SUN singletrack Disc Only wheelset with XT hubs to sell or trade. They are mint.

What are you doing Saturday? How would that wheelset work on my Horse?

Are you trying to build a dinglespeed? Or are you going geared?

If you are going SS, then I would go with a 22t until you are comfortable with it and then move to 20t.

28.6 clamp I think. SRAM 7 has one

Very nice!! I'm looking at buying one of these. Do you still like the bike? Any issues? I noticed you got a large, I'm struggling beween a medium or a large. Seems the eff. top tub is good on the large but stand over seems high. Im 5'10 with 32.5" inseam. Any advice? Thanks in advance!!

I am 6 foot with 32 inch inseem. I was shipped a medium by mistake and it felt very small. Had to ship it back for the correct large. I ride 56-58 in road bikes and 19 mountain. The bike rocks but paint job chips easy. Not much clearence for wider tires.
